Revit Architecture Books

Q: we have most of our work on software such as AutoCAD and laptops.with revit.i am confused which one is better deal.i have heard there are problems in installing the software or with other compatibailty laptops.as all our missions are on laptops this should be done.

Q: i need to learn 3d max rendering and some animation, rhino 3d modeling and some basic maya. is there a book or cd that anyone can recommend? i am using these programs for architecture modeling/rendering purposes. does anyone know a class on these program in los angeles area?
